Llamas of Great Britain with Bruce J. Wright
( 3 items )
Bruce J. Wright of Wellington Lodge Llama Trekking Staintondale, North Yorkshire, shares with us his adventures with llama trekking in Great Britain. They trained their llamas in late 1993 and started commercial trekking in April 1994 in Thetford Forest which consists mainly of conifers, planted on what had been heath land until the 1920s; so it is laid out in square blocks on a relatively flat landscape. The business grew BUT their customers were always asking us for more picturesque routes and they wanted a more interesting countryside. Bruce has some wonderful photos in both his articles and in the photo gallery.
