Topper traveled from Washington to New Jersey in 1996 from Aryal llamas to join the Grove's family. During this time she gave birth to a beautiful female cria by Bolivian Dimension. She decided to be aloof as she never wanted to leave Washington but found a friend in the Grove's five year old daughter, Holly. Only their daughter Holly was able to catch and feed Topper. They shared a special bond which has left a missing place in a 5 year old girls heart

Topper died an unexpected death due to a tragic accident. The Grove's tried to save her but nothing could be done. Now Holly has to accept this tragic death along with the rest of the Groves and Lila Groen, of Aryal llamas. But, it was an accident and no one is to blame. Topper has gone to live in Rainbow Ridge with the other Aryal llamas who have gone ahead to make way for her. She is running, pronking, jumping branches and having a great time in her new space. She will never forget Holly and her love or the others in her life. Soon Topper's daughter will fill the void for Holly and maybe replace the bond Topper and she shared

It's hard enough as adults to loose a companion but it must be devastating to a child to have to deal with this and the uncertainty of where she has gone. Don't worry Holly, Topper sends her love and misses you too! Topper has found peace and comfort in her new surroundings and has made friends with Tomkatt and Mighty Mouse who left ahead to blaze a path, but she won't forget you.
